Did you know…
Your boiler can account for 60% of your annual energy bills?
If your boiler was installed before 1998, you may be eligible for a free boiler upgrade.
The new boiler will be more energy efficient, meaning you will save a significant amount of money on your energy bills as well as reducing your carbon footprint. The funding is provided by ECO Affordable Warmth.
What are the benefits?
Older boilers are inefficient at converting fuel into heat, and often don’t have adequate heating controls. By getting a new A-rated gas boiler fitted, you will use less energy to heat your home. This will save you money and help the environment. Getting a new boiler can also add to the value of your house.
Who qualifies for a grant?
Do you receive any of the following benefits?
- Child Tax Credit (with relevant income under £16,190)
- Employment Support Allowance
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Income Support
If the answer is yes, then it is likely that you qualify. Your old boiler must also be G-rated for energy efficiency (the lowest possible rating). This is usually the case if your boiler was fitted pre-1998. If you are unsure about the age or efficiency of your boiler, one of our energy surveyors will be happy to take a look, free of charge.
How much will I save?
By upgrading from a G-rated to an A-rated boiler, a typical home will save around £300 a year in energy bills, and around 1.2 tonnes of CO2.
A standard boiler replacement would normally cost you around £2,300.

How do I claim my free boiler?
Claiming is simple. The first step is to book an appointment with one of our energy surveyors. They will check the age and efficiency rating of your boiler, and check your details to make sure you qualify. If you do, then we will take care of everything. We will organise the funding and send an approved engineer to come and fit your new boiler. It’s that simple!
