Did you know…
As much as one quarter of the heat in your house can escape through the roof?
Because heat rises, it is essential that the top of your house is well insulated. Loft insulation is a man-made, wool-like fibre, sometimes known as glass wool. It is supplied in rolls which can be laid down in a traditional pitched roof, acting as a ‘quilt’ to keep heat in.
The current recommendation is to have 270mm (10 ½ inches) of loft insulation, so even if your loft is already insulated we may be able to top it up.
Am I eligible for free loft insulation?
You may be eligible for free insulation, depending on your personal circumstances and the area you live in. If you do qualify, Go Greena can access these funds for you and arrange for our installers to come and put in the insulation — all for absolutely free.
How much will I save?
For a typical 3 bedroom semi-detached house with no insulation, you could save £175 a year on heating bills, and 730kg in CO2 emissions per year.
